MyM Magazines

MyM Magazine (pronounced “My-em”) was a British monthly entertainment magazine that ran from May 2012 to February 2018.

It began with a strong focus on Japanese pop culture, covering anime, manga, J-cinema, cosplay, fashion, and gaming. Over time, it expanded to include mainstream TV, films, comics, music (including J- and K-pop), and general pop culture.

Each issue featured diverse content like “My Goodies” (highlighting toys, games, and gadgets), “Planet Japan” (a glimpse into Japanese culture), interviews, reviews, and fan art.

Originally published independently, it was acquired in October 2012 by MCM Expo Group (later ReedPop), aligning it closely with events like London MCM Comic Con.

The final issue (#71) was released in February 2018, after which the print magazine was discontinued. Coverage continued online via MCM Buzz.
