Large double-sided FAST Car magazine fold-out poster featuring two completely different designs: a customised purple performance-style hatchback on one side and a distinctive photographic mosaic of a female model on the reverse.

Both sides carry the recognisable FAST Car magazine branding, making this an interesting piece of British modified-car magazine memorabilia.

Side 1 – FAST Car Modified Purple Hatchback

One side features a large, full-colour photograph of a heavily customised purple three-door hatchback, photographed from a low rear three-quarter angle.

The car has a distinctive deep metallic purple/magenta paint finish, which reflects the light and gives the bodywork a glossy appearance.

The photograph captures the modified-car styling associated with the British tuning scene.

Visible vehicle details include:

  • Deep purple metallic paintwork with pink/magenta highlights.

  • Large polished alloy wheels, with a deep-dish appearance and low-profile tyres.

  • Lowered suspension stance, with the wheels sitting close to the arches.

  • Custom rear bumper, featuring a prominent lower extension.

  • Modified side skirts, giving the vehicle a lower, more aggressive appearance.

  • Rear roof spoiler, extending above the rear window.

  • Darkened rear windows and distinctive three-door hatchback body styling.

  • Large side graphic, with lettering visible along the lower door area.

  • Custom exhaust outlet visible beneath the rear bumper.

  • FAST Car branding displayed on the rear number-plate area.

The vehicle is photographed on a road, with trees, roadside buildings and another vehicle visible in the background.

The camera angle particularly emphasises the car's lowered stance, rear bodywork, large wheels and custom paint finish.

A large FAST Car logo appears in the upper-left corner of the artwork.

The photograph is presented in a landscape orientation when viewed correctly, although the large sheet has been photographed vertically.

The exact make and model of the vehicle cannot be confidently established from the supplied image, so it has not been included in the listing title.

This side would be particularly interesting to collectors of British modified-car culture, custom hatchbacks, alloy-wheel styling and classic tuning-magazine memorabilia.

Side 2 – FAST Car Glamour Photographic Mosaic

The reverse features a very different design, combining glamour photography with an unusual photographic mosaic effect.

Rather than using a conventional single photograph, the large central portrait is made up of hundreds of tiny individual photographic images.

When viewed from a distance, these miniature photographs combine to create one larger image of a female model.

The model is shown in a reclining pose, wearing dark clothing with contrasting pale trim, against a warm-toned background.

The artwork uses a combination of:

  • Small photographic tiles arranged in a dense grid.

  • Warm brown, copper, pink and purple tones.

  • Dark contrasting areas defining the larger image.

  • A large central portrait created through the mosaic effect.

  • Distinctive FAST Car magazine branding.

The individual miniature photographs form the overall colours, shading and outlines of the larger portrait.

This gives the poster an unusual visual effect: from a distance it resembles a conventional glamour photograph, while closer inspection reveals the many smaller images used to construct it.

A large white FAST Car logo with a dark outline appears towards the lower-right corner, printed vertically in the photographed orientation.

The mosaic design is a distinctive feature and makes this more unusual than a standard single-image magazine fold-out.

The featured model is not identified by name in the visible artwork, so no celebrity or model identity has been assumed.

Format and Collectability

This is a large double-sided printed sheet, with one side devoted to modified-car photography and the other to glamour-themed photographic artwork.

The measuring guide visible beside the poster suggests an unfolded dimension of approximately 70 cm along the longer visible side, although exact measurements are not confirmed.

The poster has been folded into several sections, consistent with a magazine fold-out format.

Its combination of automotive tuning imagery, FAST Car branding and photographic mosaic artwork makes it relevant to collectors of British car magazines and modified-car culture.

Only the poster is shown in the photographs. No accompanying magazine or issue information is visible.

Condition

Pre-owned condition with noticeable folding, creasing, edge wear and general handling/storage wear.

Both sides have been examined using the two supplied photographs.

Fold Lines and Creasing

The poster has a prominent vertical centre fold and several horizontal fold lines running across the sheet.

These create visible rectangular sections across both printed designs.

On the photographic mosaic side, the vertical fold runs through the main model image, while horizontal folding crosses the upper and middle sections.

There is some creasing and slight paper distortion around the fold intersections.

The modified-car side shows the same folding pattern, with a strong central vertical crease running through the vehicle photograph and a noticeable horizontal fold across the middle.

The fold intersections show additional paper stress and slight wrinkling.

Edges and Corners

The outer edges show visible handling and storage wear.

On the mosaic side, the top edge has slight waviness and unevenness, particularly around the central fold.

The lower-right corner appears slightly softened and bent.

On the modified-car side, there is more noticeable creasing and bending along the left-hand edge, particularly around the middle section.

The right-hand edge also shows some curling and unevenness.

Several corners appear slightly rounded or softened rather than perfectly sharp.

Surface Marks and Wear

The mosaic side has some light surface creasing and handling impressions, although the busy photographic design makes smaller marks difficult to distinguish.

The modified-car side shows several noticeable creases and pressure marks, especially in the lighter sky and road sections.

There is visible wrinkling towards the upper-right area of the car-side photograph.

Some small light marks are also visible against the darker vehicle image, although it is difficult to establish whether all are surface wear or details within the original photograph.

Fold Stress and Paper Distortion

The central fold intersections show minor stress from previous folding.

The poster does not lie completely flat in the photographs, with slight raised areas and waviness around the creases.

The modified-car side has some additional diagonal creasing extending from the edges towards the main folds.

Tears, Writing and Missing Sections

No obvious major tear or large missing section is visible in the supplied photographs.

There is no clearly identifiable handwritten marking or substantial staining on the poster.

Small edge defects cannot be completely ruled out from the images.

Colour and Presentation

The printed colours remain visually strong.

The modified-car side retains its vivid purple paintwork, contrasting with the lighter road and sky background.

The mosaic side retains its detailed photographic pattern and warm colour tones.

Both designs remain clearly visible despite the folding and handling wear.

Overall Condition: A complete-looking FAST Car double-sided fold-out poster with noticeable original fold lines, some heavier creasing, minor corner and edge wear, slight paper waviness and general storage-related handling marks.

Please examine both supplied photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
