Please study all supplied photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description. This is an original February 2004 US Edition of FHM and shows noticeable age, reading and storage wear.

The front cover remains colourful and highly presentable, but there is clear wear around the outer edges and particularly around the top-left corner/spine area, where small tears, chipping and paper loss are visible. The spine shows rubbing and general compression from previous handling, and the upper and lower corners are softened rather than perfectly sharp.

There are also surface marks, scratches, light scuffs and creasing across the cover. The upper edge has visible handling wear, while the right-hand edge and lower corner show additional rubbing and minor bending. The cover does not sit completely flat, which is consistent with its age and with the unusual fold-out construction of this issue.

Importantly, the photographed “Pull Here” extended front-cover section is still present. When opened, this transforms the normal portrait-format cover into a much wider panoramic presentation featuring three women against a snowy/winter background. The folding sections show expected fold lines and handling wear from having been opened previously, but the photographed extended section remains attached and displays strongly.

Internally, the pages shown are bright, readable and colourful, with normal page curvature, light waviness and handling consistent with a magazine now more than two decades old. The photographed contents pages and feature pages appear securely bound.

The rear cover is still attached but shows noticeable curvature, edge wear and light marking, particularly around the corners and spine edge.

No major missing internal sections are apparent from the supplied photographs. However, this copy has not been represented as mint or pristine, and collectors should examine every photograph carefully to assess the condition for themselves.

Description

Original FHM Magazine – US Edition – February 2004, identified internally as Issue 41.

This is an especially distinctive early-2000s issue because of its unusual interactive fold-out front cover. The standard cover opens from the boldly marked “PULL HERE” section to reveal a much wider winter-themed photographic composition.

The magazine combines the classic FHM formula of the period: female features and photography, winter sports, humour, comedy, celebrity interviews, fashion, reviews, gadgets, motorcycles, lifestyle material and offbeat editorial features.

Fold-Out Front Cover Feature

One of the most collectible visual aspects of this particular issue is the multi-panel expanding front cover.

Closed, the magazine presents a single female cover image against a snowy background with large yellow, blue and white FHM graphics.

The right-hand side carries the instruction:

“PULL HERE”

and promotes:

“THE SEXY GIRLS OF WINTER X GAMES”

When unfolded, the photographed cover expands horizontally to reveal three female figures across a continuous snowy winter landscape.

The middle woman is shown with prominent body-art styling, while the women on either side wear coordinated silver-toned winter-themed outfits. The design makes the entire extended cover feel more like a panoramic promotional display than a conventional single-page magazine cover.

This fold-out element appears present and still attached, which is worth noting for collectors because such interactive covers are especially prone to separation or damage through repeated use.

The X Girls / Winter Sports Feature

The issue prominently promotes its Winter X Games female feature, with names printed directly on the cover including:
