Original FHM Magazine – February 2016, the historically significant final printed issue of FHM, prominently marked on the front cover “LAST EVER ISSUE – 1985–2016.” This makes it a particularly collectable edition for FHM collectors and anyone interested in the history of British men’s magazines.

The striking black-and-white front cover stars Holly Willoughby, photographed against the dark background with the classic oversized red FHM masthead. The cover’s farewell design, “bye!” styling and 1985–2016 marking clearly identify this as the magazine’s final regular print edition.

Main Magazine Features

The contents page confirms a substantial Holly Willoughby feature beginning around page 52, described as the final cover star looking back at FHM itself. This is particularly fitting for the farewell issue and gives the magazine added interest beyond being simply her cover appearance.

Other notable contents visible in the photographs include:

  • Holly Willoughby – final FHM cover feature.
  • Tinie Tempah – “FHM Hero” feature discussing his rise and the influence of So Solid Crew.
  • Charlotte McKinney – featured in the “Would Wife” section.
  • Rosie Mac – substantial glamour/lifestyle feature around page 134, presented as advice on finding the “ultimate girlfriend.”
  • Ian Wright – feature explaining his rise to success.
  • Rick Rosner – billed as one of the smartest men in the world.
  • Evolution of Terror – retrospective feature examining terrorism from Omaha to Paris.
  • Ghetto Superstars – feature looking at real rap talent in London.
  • How We Grew Up – retrospective covering cultural highlights from FHM’s previous two decades.
  • Read It and Weep – a look back at the history of FHM and its legacy.
  • Meet the Superhumans – fitness-related feature.
  • Additional lifestyle, entertainment, grooming, food and culture content.

The photographs also show a full feature spread with Rosie Mac, photographed in a yellow bikini on a beach setting. This is a multi-page editorial feature within the magazine rather than a separate insert.

As the magazine’s final issue, this edition works particularly well for collectors of FHM, Holly Willoughby memorabilia, 2010s popular culture, British magazine history and celebrity publications.

Condition

Pre-owned and showing noticeable but generally moderate age/storage wear.

The front cover remains complete and visually strong, but there is visible creasing and waviness across the upper edge, particularly around the top-left and top-right areas. The corners show light bumping, curling and edge wear, and there is some general surface rubbing from handling.

The spine shows rubbing and minor wear, especially toward the lower section. The lower front edge and corners have some light wear and small creases.

Internally, the pages shown appear clean, bright and securely attached, with typical curvature from being opened. The Holly Willoughby issue contents and Rosie Mac feature remain clearly printed and presentable.

The rear cover shows edge and corner rubbing, particularly around the lower spine-side area. There is also some minor surface marking consistent with normal storage and handling of a magazine of this age.

No obvious major tears, writing or missing pages can be seen in the supplied photographs.

Please inspect all supplied images carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description and show the exact magazine being offered.
