Publication: Meccano Magazine (UK) Issue Date: February 1954 (Vol. XXXIX, No. 2) SKU: 004

Condition Report: The magazine is in Acceptable to Good Vintage Condition. It displays noticeable wear typical of a 1950s paper publication, including edge wear, scuffing along the spine with some minor separation at the staples, and standard age-related tanning to the pages. The cover retains good colour but has a few small surface blemishes. Please note: There is a handwritten name and address in pencil at the top of the back cover ("Ford 27 Ombersley Rd"). Please review all images carefully to see the exact condition. The text and illustrations remain highly readable. Sold as a wonderful piece of classic British toy and aviation history!

Featured Content & Highlights:

  • Cover Art: Features a highly atmospheric, dramatic illustration titled "Night Sortie at West Malling", depicting ground crew preparing RAF jet fighters (resembling Gloster Meteors) on an illuminated airfield runway at night.

  • Inside Features: The "With the Editor" section features a photograph showing "The post that marks the division between New South Wales and Victoria, Australia" on the Princes Highway.

  • Vintage Advertisements: The back cover features a classic blue-and-white advertisement for Meccano accessories, titled "More parts... more models... more fun", illustrating a fantastic Meccano model tank build alongside various accessory parts.

Shipping: Dispatched securely in a rigid cardboard mailer and protective sleeve to ensure safe transit.
