Original Viz Magazine, Issue No. 249, October 2015, featuring the magazine's distinctive British adult-humour comic artwork and a colourful illustrated barbecue-themed front cover.
The cover is dominated by the oversized VIZ masthead above a comic garden/barbecue scene, with several of the magazine's familiar cartoon characters gathered around drinks and a barbecue. The issue advertises a substantial selection of Viz's regular comic strips, characters and humour features.
Prominent cover-listed strips and characters include Sid the Sexist, The Fat Slags, 8 Ace, Fru T Bunn, Farmer Palmer, Drunken Bakers, Gilbert Ratchet, Meddlesome Ratbag and Aldridge Prior.
Other regular Viz features promoted across the bottom of the cover include Letterbocks, Roger's Profanisaurus and Top Tips.
Additional front-cover features include a sci-fi cosplay-themed relationship story, a humorous space-themed feature, and a feature titled “Barbecue of the Future”, which the cover indicates appears on page 26. The artwork and headlines are typical of Viz's irreverent satirical and adult-oriented humour and make this a recognisable issue for collectors of British comics and humour magazines.
The issue number 249 and date OCT 2015 are clearly printed on the front cover, together with the original UK cover price of £3.20.

Condition
Condition assessment is based on the single supplied front-cover image only; the back cover and interior pages are not shown and therefore cannot be assessed.
The magazine shows noticeable general handling and storage wear consistent with a previously owned copy.
There is clear wear along the left-hand spine, including rubbing, whitening and repeated small creases. A small split/tear is visible along the upper section of the spine/left cover edge, with further rubbing and minor wear continuing down the spine toward the bottom.
The front cover has visible handling creases, particularly around the large VIZ masthead and along the left side. The bottom-right corner is noticeably creased and turned/curling upward, with a strong diagonal crease running through the lower “Top Tips” area and visible white stress marking along the fold. The extreme bottom-right edge also shows rubbing and corner wear.
There is additional light edge and corner wear around the remaining outer edges, including minor rubbing at the bottom and top edges. The bottom-left/spine corner also shows handling wear.
The front-cover colours remain strong and bright overall, and the main artwork, issue number and cover text remain clearly readable. No obvious handwriting or major staining is visible in the supplied image.
