Pre-owned / used vintage magazine.
Please study all supplied photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
This copy shows clear signs of previous handling, reading and storage, consistent with an original weekly magazine from 2008.
The front cover remains bright, colourful and highly presentable, with the principal Georgina Baillie cover photograph and main headlines displaying well. There is, however, visible age-related wear. Most noticeably, the upper-left corner has creasing, folding and a small area of edge damage, with further rubbing and compression running down the left/spine edge. The top edge also shows some light waviness and handling wear.
There are light surface scratches, marks and rubbing across the glossy front cover, together with small knocks and softening to the corners. The lower-left/spine area shows additional wear from handling.
The internal pages photographed remain bright, readable and securely held. There is normal page handling, some light waviness and creasing around the edges and centre folds, and age-related rubbing along the exposed page edges. The large photographic spreads still present strongly.
The rear cover shows visible rubbing around its perimeter, particularly along the spine and lower edges, together with light corner wear and general surface handling.
No major detached sections or obvious large missing portions are apparent from the supplied photographs. This should nevertheless be regarded as a genuine used collector's copy rather than mint or newsstand condition.
Description
Original ZOO Magazine – Issue 246, dated 14–20 November 2008.
A particularly model-heavy late-2000s issue of the British weekly men's magazine, with Georgina Baillie occupying the main front cover and receiving prominent coverage inside.
The issue combines ZOO's characteristic mixture of glamour/model photography, celebrity coverage, sport, entertainment, cars, gaming, humour and topical features, with several substantial female pictorial features visible in the supplied photographs.
Georgina Baillie Cover Feature
Georgina Baillie is the principal cover model for this issue.
The cover promotes her prominently with a large central photograph and describes the feature as an exclusive. Inside, the contents page confirms a dedicated Georgina Baillie feature, and the supplied photographs show a large full-page glamour image from The ZOO Babe Collection No. 54, carrying her name and printed signature-style branding.
This makes the issue particularly relevant to collectors of Georgina Baillie material and late-2000s ZOO model features.
Britain's Sexiest Blondes Feature
One of the largest photographed features in this issue is “Britain's Sexiest Blondes!”, presented by Danni Wells.
The contents page promotes the feature as a selection of Britain's 20 sexiest fair-haired models, and the supplied photographs show a substantial double-page opening spread.
Danni Wells is prominently featured in metallic gold swimwear and is identified within the feature as the presenter of ZOO's selection.
The accompanying magazine imagery also clearly features:
- Danni Wells
- Emma Rigby
- Sarah Harding
The photographed feature continues with a large-format glamour spread, making the blonde-model section one of the strongest collector-oriented elements of this particular issue.
Additional Models Featured
The front cover also advertises several additional women through smaller inset photographs, including models identified on the cover as:
- Jen
- Amy
- Sienna
- Danni
The cover specifically promotes these alongside the headline “Britain's Sexiest Blondes!”, reinforcing the model-heavy focus of the issue.
Magazine Contents
The photographed contents pages show that the issue contains considerably more than the main cover feature.
Visible subjects and features include:
- Georgina Baillie
- Danni Wells
- Emma Rigby
- Sarah Harding
- Britain's Sexiest Blondes feature
- Glamour/model photography and regular ZOO female features

- David Haye
- Randy Couture
- Football and rugby coverage
- Guitar Hero vs Rock Band
- Mercedes-Benz SL65 Black Series

The opening pages retain the distinctive late-2000s ZOO layout, with bold headlines, collage-style photography and separate sections for News, Sport, Girls, Features and Bonus Bits.
Collecting Appeal
This is a strong example of ZOO Magazine during its 2008 period, especially for collectors interested in British glamour/model photography and personalities associated with the magazine during that era.
The combination of a major Georgina Baillie cover feature, the substantial Danni Wells / Britain's Sexiest Blondes section and appearances by Emma Rigby and Sarah Harding gives the issue particularly good model-related content.

Depending on the final packed size and weight, it will be protected using sturdy cardboard packaging and/or suitable bubble wrap, with additional support where appropriate to help prevent unnecessary movement inside the parcel.
Particular attention will be given to protecting the spine, corners and outer edges, as these are naturally vulnerable areas on an older magazine. Packaging will be intended to reduce the risk of bending, crushing, corner knocks and further edge wear during transit.
Please remember that this is an original pre-owned magazine from 2008, so buyers looking for a completely flawless or newsstand-mint example should inspect all supplied photographs closely before purchasing.
