Original Zoo Magazine, Issue No. 325, dated 4-10 June 2010, featuring Porchia as the principal cover model, with additional model/celebrity content including Roxanne Pallett.

The main cover is dominated by a glamour photograph of Porchia, accompanied by the large headline “Say hello to... PORCHIA – She’s revved up and ready to go!”. The interior contents confirm a dedicated Porchia feature on page 46, described as a feature on the Essex model.

Roxanne Pallett is also prominently promoted on the front cover and appears within the contents. Her feature is listed among the issue’s news material on page 10, and the cover gives her a large secondary photograph.

This issue has particularly strong 2010 World Cup interest. Most importantly, the photographed copy includes the original separate FREE 64-PAGE WORLD CUP BOOKLET, titled:

“Zoo’s Ultimate 2010 World Cup Guide!”

The booklet has a striking red/yellow World Cup trophy cover and advertises:

  • 64 pages
  • 2010 World Cup Guide
  • 32 teams rated
  • 3-page mega quiz
  • Pull-out match planner

The booklet itself is clearly present with this copy. The internal pull-out match planner has not been separately photographed, so its individual completeness cannot be confirmed from the supplied images.

The regular magazine also contains extensive football material tied to the upcoming tournament. Ricky Hatton is prominently featured at the top of the cover discussing his comeback, while the contents include additional World Cup and sport material.

There is also a substantial gaming special, prominently advertised on the front cover, with Call of Duty 7 and a new Star Wars title specifically mentioned. Interior imagery shows military/action gaming content.

Other visible features from the contents include:

  • Porchia – page 46
  • Roxanne Pallett – page 10
  • Ricky Hatton – page 58
  • Zoo vs Kieren Fallon – page 42
  • Real-life feature – page 36
  • World Cup countdown
  • Graham Poll World Cup referee material
  • PlayerCam
  • Motors
  • Reviews
  • New Stuff
  • Style
  • TV Guide
  • Real Girl of the Year
  • Regular humour and reader sections

The photographs also show an interior Porchia glamour spread, confirming that her feature continues beyond the cover and includes full-page photography.

Overall, this is a strong period issue for collectors of Zoo Magazine, glamour/model magazines and 2010 World Cup memorabilia, especially because the original 64-page World Cup booklet is still present.

Condition

Condition has been assessed from all five supplied photographs, including the magazine cover, included World Cup booklet, contents page, interior model spread and exterior/rear view.

The main magazine is in used condition with visible general handling and storage wear.

The front cover remains bright and strongly coloured, with the Porchia photograph, Zoo masthead, date, issue number and major headlines all clear and readable.

There is wear around the spine and outer edges, including rubbing, small stress marks and some whitening where the cover has flexed. The corners show light-to-moderate handling wear.

The cover has minor creasing and surface handling marks, particularly around the outer margins. There is also some slight curvature from storage/use.

The interior contents page appears clean, colourful and readable, with no obvious large tears or staining visible in the photographed area.

The photographed Porchia interior spread remains intact and readable, although the pages naturally curve around the centre binding. No obvious detached page is visible in the supplied photograph.

The included 64-page World Cup booklet shows noticeably more edge wear than the main cover. Its left-hand/spine edge has several visible creases, small tears/nicks, rubbing and whitening, particularly through the middle and lower portions. The bottom-left corner is worn and slightly frayed, and there are additional handling creases around the lower edge.

Despite that wear, the World Cup booklet’s front cover remains colourful and its principal text and trophy artwork remain clearly readable.

The exterior/rear photograph also shows general rubbing and spine-end wear, but the magazine still appears structurally together in the areas shown.

No obvious handwriting is visible in the supplied photographs.

Overall, this is a presentable used copy with moderate handling, spine and edge wear, together with a visibly worn but present original 64-page World Cup booklet. The inclusion of the original booklet is an important positive feature of this copy.
